WELCOME TO CRAIG FORD PHOTOGRAPHY

Born and raised in New Zealand, I am an award winning landscape photographer based in Napier, New Zealand.

I love exploring the natural environment and capturing memorable, often fleeting, moments in time at amazing locations and sharing those images with other people. I enjoy the immense diversity of New Zealand’s scenery.  From majestic snow-capped mountains and spectacular waterfalls, to rugged coastlines and ancient volcanic landscapes, New Zealand has it all!

I like to utilise long exposure and low light photographic techniques where possible in order to better convey the ethereal and often dream-like qualities of New Zealand and Australia’s varied natural landscapes. 

Primarily, I hope that my style of photography is able to enhance awareness and respect for this majestic and spiritually significant, yet fragile, corner of the Earth and that it inspires you to visit these places for yourself.
